Community Guidelines
Welcome to the InterCultural Voices™ Community! We’re thrilled to have you here and excited for the meaningful connections, collaborations, and impact we’ll create together. As part of this vibrant network of multicultural leaders, we ask that you follow these simple guidelines to ensure a positive and engaging experience for everyone.
1. Be Respectful and Inclusive
- Treat all members with kindness and respect.
- Embrace diverse perspectives, backgrounds, and experiences. We believe that our differences make us stronger and more impactful.
- Avoid any behavior that could be perceived as offensive, discriminatory, or exclusionary.
2. Be Supportive and Collaborative
- Share your insights, experiences, and expertise to help others grow.
- Offer constructive feedback and encouragement. We’re here to lift each other up.
- Reach out for support when you need it and be ready to support others when they reach out to you.
3. Stay on Topic
- Keep discussions relevant to the community’s mission of growth, leadership, and making an impact.
- Share content, ideas, and resources that align with the goals of InterCultural Voices™.
- Use the appropriate channels for specific topics (e.g., events, networking, resources).
4. No Selling, Pitching, or Spam
- Selling or pitching products or services to members in posts or messages is against our rules. Violators will be removed from the community.
- This is a space for genuine connection and learning, not for unsolicited sales pitches.
- If you have valuable resources or opportunities to share, please make sure they are relevant and beneficial to the community.
5. Be Mindful of Sensitive Topics
- We ask that political or religious discussions remain private. If you wish to share your thoughts on these topics, please do so only with members who are open to them.
- Maintain a respectful approach if discussing any sensitive topics—respect other members’ differing views.
6. Protect Privacy and Confidentiality
- Respect the privacy of other members. Don’t share personal or sensitive information without consent.
- Do not record or screenshot private discussions, calls, or events unless explicit consent is given.
7. Be Mindful of Your Language
- Use language that is professional, inclusive, and uplifting.
- Avoid aggressive, inflammatory, or offensive language.
- Aim for clear, respectful communication in all posts and interactions.
8. Participate and Engage
- Engage in discussions, attend networking events, and actively participate in the community.
- Be open to meeting new people, exchanging ideas, and collaborating on initiatives.
- Keep a positive and open attitude toward the ideas and contributions of others.
9. Respect the Moderators and Admins
- Our team is here to ensure a safe and welcoming environment. Please respect their decisions and guidance.
- If you have concerns or issues, please reach out privately to a moderator or admin rather than airing grievances publicly.
10. Have Fun and Be Inspired
- Above all, enjoy the community! This is a space where leaders like you can grow, share, and make an impact.
- Stay inspired, engage with purpose, and use this community to help you on your journey to success.
By following these guidelines, we can create a supportive, respectful, and impactful space for multicultural leaders to connect, collaborate, and elevate each other.
